GameBravos ("we", "us") is a platform for playing card and board games with other people, inside Telegram as a Mini App and in a web browser. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, why, who else is involved, and what you can do about it.
1. What we collect
When you sign in
- With Telegram: your Telegram user id, first name and Telegram username, as Telegram passes them to us when you open the app.
- With Google: your Google account id, email address and name.
We don't receive your Telegram phone number, your contacts or your Google password.
What you add yourself
- Your profile: name, username, bio, gender (optional) and profile picture. Pictures are re-encoded on our server, which removes their metadata (such as location).
- Your settings: language, theme and which notifications you want.
- Friends, friend requests, muted friends, game alerts and scheduled matches.
- Stories you post, which disappear after 24 hours, together with who viewed them.
- Messages you send us through "Contact us".
What happens while you play
- Match records: the game, the players, the result, the scores and when it was played. They drive your history, statistics, leaderboards and friend suggestions. Practice matches against the computer aren't recorded.
- Room chat: kept only while the room exists, at most the last 50 messages and never longer than 6 hours, so that people who join a room can read what was said. It isn't archived.
- Voice chat: audio goes directly between the players' devices or through a third party relay. It never reaches our servers, and nobody records it.
- Presence: whether you're online and which room you're in, so your friends can join you. This is held only in memory and expires within minutes.
Technical data
- Your IP address and request details, used to limit abuse (rate limits) and kept in our server logs for security and troubleshooting.
- A session cookie that keeps you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
- Small preferences stored on your own device (local storage), such as sound on or off and your theme.
2. Why we use it
- To run the service: sign you in, seat you in rooms, run matches and timers, show your history and statistics, and connect you with friends.
- To send you the Telegram messages you asked for (friend requests, invites, pings, game alerts, story and schedule reminders). You can turn each kind off in the app under Profile → Notifications.
- To keep the platform fair and safe: preventing spam, cheating and abuse, and handling reports.
- To answer you when you contact us.
We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your data to profile you for anyone else.
3. What other players see
- Your name, profile picture and username are shown to other players: in rooms, in chat, on leaderboards and on your player card.
- Your player card shows your recent statistics, and your recent games and results against the player looking at it.
- Your stories are shown to your friends, to people you played a recorded match with in the last 7 days, and to the people in your current room.
- Your friends can see whether you're online and which room you're in.
- What you say in a room's text or voice chat reaches everyone in that room, spectators included.
4. How long we keep it
- Account, profile and friends: while your account exists.
- Stories: 24 hours, then deleted, together with their views and reports.
- Room chat: at most 6 hours. Presence: minutes.
- Server logs: kept for a limited period, then deleted.
5. Your choices and rights
- Edit or remove your profile details and picture.
- Turn notifications off, mute friends, or remove friends.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account: write to [email protected] or to @gamebravos_support on Telegram from the account concerned. When we delete an account, we delete its profile, friends, stories and settings, and remove your name from past match records (the other players' results stay).
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under data protection law, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Children
GameBravos isn't meant for children under 13. If you're under the age at which you can agree to data processing where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has given us data without that permission, contact us and we'll delete it.
7. Security
Connections to GameBravos are encrypted (HTTPS), sign-ins are verified with Telegram and Google, and access to our systems is restricted. No system is perfect, though, so please tell us right away if you notice a problem.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll also let you know in the app or through the bot.
9. Contact
